Abstract

In China’s basic education system, the national curriculum undertakes the core mission of fostering talents. However, its textbooks exhibit certain limitations and a degree of obsolescence. The geography discipline has the characteristics of practicality, comprehensiveness and regionality. The field curriculum, with geographical practice as its core, can make up for the defi ciencies of the national curriculum, and the collaborative education between the two is of great signifi cance. This paper proposes that the implementation of collaborative education should follow the implementation paths of goal coordination, content integration and resource integration, and establish a sound evaluation mechanism and policy guarantee mechanism. In the process of collaborative education, it is necessary to balance the proportion of the two types of courses and coordinate the universal and personalized needs. Finally, through the in-depth integration of the two, the goal of “understanding principles through textbooks, learning practically in the fi eld, and educating people collaboratively”can be achieved, so as to cultivate new-era talents with solid knowledge, comprehensive thinking and rich practical abilities.
