Abstract

Aiming at the current weakness in the research on modeling teaching in senior high school geography, this paper systematically demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of implementing advanced teaching of geographic modeling in senior high school geography under the guidance of learning progression theory, and puts forward a path model of advanced teaching of geographic modeling. The model includes the selection, construction, analysis, revision, application and expansion of geographic models. Taking the content related to the tri-cellular circulation as an example, this paper discusses the teaching links and content implementation.
