Abstract

World cultural heritage is an important spiritual wealth of human society. China continuously promotes the overall protection and living transmission of world cultural heritage. However, students’awareness and learning transfer of world cultural heritage remain unclear. Drawing on the existing scale of tourist heritage identity at world cultural heritage sites, this study developed a scale through expert consultation, exploratory factor analysis, and confi rmatory factor analysis. The resulting World Cultural Heritage Awareness and Learning Transfer Scale consists of 2 sub-scales, 2 fi rst-level dimensions, 6 second-level dimensions, and 19 items. The results indicate that the scale demonstrates good reliability and validity, making it a useful tool for measuring students’awareness and learning transfer levels of world cultural heritage. The scale provides a goal evaluation tool for schools to carry out world heritage education.
