Abstract

The cross-disciplinary literacy of primary and middle school teachers is an important foundation for achieving cross-disciplinary thematic learning. Geography with its comprehensive nature and practicality, has unique practical value in cross-disciplinary teachingThis study explores the assesment dimensions of the cross-disciplinary literacy of geography teachers through grounded theory, revisesthe indicator system of the cross -disciplinary literacy of geography teachers through the Delphi method, and constructs a measurementindicator system for the cross-disciplinary literacy of geography teachers. The system includes four fi rst-level indicators: cross-disciplinary sentiment, cross-disciplinary knowledge, cross-disciplinary ability, and cross disciplinary evaluation and professionaldevelopment of geography teachers, as well as ten second-level indicators and 43 third-level indicators.After conducting validity andeliability tests, this assesment system has high validity and reliability, and can provide a systematic framework and practical guidelines for the assessment of the cross-disciplinary literacy of geography teachers, helping with educational assessment and teacher professional development.
