Geography Master Teacher Studios in China: Achievements, Challenges, and Future Prospects

Abstract

Taking the First National Exchange Conference on the Construction Achievements of Geography Famous Teacher Studios as the empirical research field, this study adopts a mixed-methods approach combining in-depth observation and questionnaire survey to systematically analyze the achievements and practical dilemmas in the construction of geography famous teacher studios in China. The study fi nds that current geography famous teacher studios have achieved remarkable results in top-level design, institutional construction, teaching and research innovation, and achievement output, but still face practical dilemmas such as insufficient resource input, lack of endogenous motivation, poor achievement transformation, and lagging evaluation mechanism. Accordingly, this study proposes high-quality development strategies for the future construction of geography famous teacher studios.
