Abstract

Integrating science education content into subject teaching and cultivating students’scientifi c literacy are crucial measures for enhancing science education. This article takes the National Science Popularization Demonstration Base (FAST) as the practical teaching venue, constructs a learning task group centered around the four themes of FAST:“construction purpose, site selection conditions, observation principles, and multidimensional impacts”, and carries out geographical practical teaching following the process of“knowledge learning - practical operation - comprehensive application”. It aims to help students understand the essence of science, master scientifi c methods, and develop scientifi c thinking through learning and exploration, achieving a progression from“knowledge learning”to“literacy cultivation”. Furthermore, it aims to establish a case paradigm for geographical practical teaching relying on science popularization bases, providing a reference for science education practice.
