本文以英国杜伦大学地理系为例，系统阐述英国高等教育质量保障署发布的《地理学科质量基准》中英国地理学科的六大典型特征：学科设计的整体性、资源供给的可及性、学习路径的进阶性、教学安排的灵活性、多元主体的合作性及质量保障的协同性，旨在为中国高等地理教育从师范转向复合创新人才培养提供参考，服务国家战略对卓越地理人才的需求。

Taking the Department of Geography at Durham University, UK, as a case study, this paper systematically elucidates the six hallmark features of UK geography higher education as outlined in the Subject Benchmark Statement for Geography issued by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA): integrative education design, Inclusive and equitable accessibility, progressive learning pathways, fl exible teaching arrangements, collaborative engagement of multiple partnerships, and synergistic quality monitoring and review. The paper aims to provide a reference for the transformation of geography higher education in China from a traditional teacher-training model towards cultivating interdisciplinary innovative talents, thereby serving the national strategic demand for outstanding geographical professionals.
