Abstract Teaching activity is a nonlinear, chaotic, random and cannot be predicted.In this paper, through elaborating the connotation of the butterfly effect and the relationship between teaching activities.To senior high school geography teaching as an example, to explore the butterfly effect on geography teaching activities .Such as namely the creation of classroom favorable initial conditions, warning the classroom butterfly attractor and collective strength to showing the storm butterfly. In order to improve the efficiency of geography teaching, and provide reference for senior high school geography teachers.
